MCF – Gagetown group – study & prayer

I would like to ask you all to pray for the flood situation in NB and the volcanic situation in Hawaii as many are battling to save their homes and possessions. May we always serve our God with our homes and possessions. Anyways, I hope you all had a great weekend and I pray that this week brings you happiness and joy in God’s love, Amen!

This part is called Jesus, the living water.  Read from John 7:37-52 focusing on verses 37 to 39.

Do you remember when we started this journey? The very first thing I said to read? It was John 1:1. Everything in the Christian life is dependent upon faith; upon believing. Do you believe? And in whom do you believe? We are to believe in Jesus Christ. We are to have faith in Jesus, the Son of Abba the Father – the living water!

Too many Christians get caught up in dogma, doctrine and works (law). I have no problem with this as long as it does not take the place of what is important and what is truth… faith in the Son of God! Read what “Romans 10:17” tell us.  This is how we receive faith; by listening to the Word. Jesus came to this world so we could see the Word made flesh! As followers of God’s Son, we should be sharing that Living Water. We have what people around us desperately need, so tell others about Jesus the living water. Remember what Jesus said to us… that if we acknowledge Him in front of men, He will acknowledge us in front of His Father who is in heaven, but if we deny Him in front of men he will deny us in front of YHWH (Yahweh) God His Father who is in heaven (Matt 10:32-33)!

Remember this beloved hymn?
Fill My Cup, Lord
-Like the woman at the well I was seeking
For things that could not satisfy.
And then I heard my Saviour speaking-
“Draw from my well that never shall run dry.”
Chorus
Fill my cup, Lord; I lift it up, Lord;
Come and quench this thirsting of my soul.
Bread of heaven, feed me till I want no more-
Fill my cup, fill it up and make me whole.
-There are millions in this world who are craving
The pleasures earthly things afford.
But none can match the wondrous treasure
That I find in Jesus Christ my Lord.
-So my brother, if the things this world gives you
Leave hunger that won’t pass away
My blessed Lord will come and save you
If you kneel to Him and humbly pray.

Verse of the day…. John 7:38   (http://www.cyberoutlaws.com/prayer/page21.html)

He is the Redeemer of the world, who died for sinners, the One who is the Soon-coming King!

Blessings All!
Have a Great Day!
Keep your head up! GOD gives his hardest battles to his strongest SOLDIERS…
So as we go through our day let us go out to help and to care for all that need it, in Jesus’ name…Amen!
