Multidimensional Integrated Stabilization Mission in Mali (MINUSMA): Canadian Military recently deployed a 12-person advance party to the region to prepare for the 250 Canadian Military who will provide medical evacuation and aerial support to the mission. This mission has its challenges and dangers and has been designated the UN’s most dangerous mission as 170 international peacekeepers have died in Mali since 2003.
Our chaplains deploy wherever our military serveand face the same dangers, family separations, while bringing hope and compassion to those they serve alongside.
