Good morning to you all,
How are you all doing today? God is good! Are you thanking God for all your blessings? Have you prayed to Him to thank Him for sending his One and only Son to die for your sins? For without Jesus we would have “NO” salvation!
Ok, so the last 2 weeks we looked at Joshua and Saul. Joshua did what God asked of him. Saul, on the other hand, did what God asked but then took it upon himself to do what he was not to do (the sacrifice… not his job) so God turned away due to his disobedience.
Now we look at David. He is a mix of both Joshua and Saul. But what was so different with David? Let’s look at what he did. He did what God wanted (as Joshua) but then he was disobedient (as Saul). So what was different? He “repented” his sins! Now tell me, what can we learn from this??
Read David’s psalm of repentance Psalm 51:1-2
1Have mercy on me, O God, according to your unfailing love;
according to your great compassion blot out my transgressions.
2Wash away all my iniquity and cleanse me from my sin.”
Read Acts 3:19
19 Repent, then, and turn to God, so that your sins may be wiped out, that times of refreshing may come from the Lord.
 Please pray…
Lord! We pray to you for mercy, we repent to you of our sins and for not listening to your command. This world is full of distractions and we tend to not hear you through the noise. Forgive us, Lord, for walking in the dark and bring us back into the light. Help us with our weaknesses and guide us gently back. As we rejoice in your grace; we hold true in faith as we pray to you in your son’s name Jesus… Amen!
Blessings All!
Have a Great Day!
Keep your head up! GOD gives his hardest battles to his strongest SOLDIERS…
So as we go through our day let us go out to help and to care for all that need it, in Jesus’ name…Amen!
