MCF - SMALL GROUP - ANDREW - FORM SQUARE - 2016-03-23 at 11.34.33 AMGood morning to you all!!

God is GREAT! Have you seen the beauty in the trees? Gods paint brush is at work once again and this fall season looks wonderful. If we are content with our lives and with what God has given us through His great wisdom; then and only then, can we see the beauty that is around us. Slow down, look around, be satisfied with your blessings from God and enjoy your life within Christ!
So now that we have finished James we are going to look back and rediscover what it means to be soldiers in Christ. Let’s think about how we can be more active in our roles here on base, in helping those who are lost and shining the light of God to those who are in the darkest place of their lives.
Paul writes to Timothy:
“You therefore must endure hardship as a good soldier of Jesus Christ. No one engaged in warfare entangles himself with the affairs of this life, that he may please him who enlisted him as a soldier.”

Ephesians 6:11-17
11 Put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the schemes of the devil. 12 For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the cosmic powers over this present darkness, against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly places. 13 Therefore take up the whole armor of God, that you may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand firm.14 Stand therefore, having fastened on the belt of truth, and having put on the breastplate of righteousness, 15 and, as shoes for your feet, having put on the readiness given by the gospel of peace. 16 In all circumstances take up the shield of faith, with which you can extinguish all the flaming darts of the evil one; 17 and take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God
Please pray…
Our wonderful Father, we come before you with prayers of thanks and hope. We thank you for choosing us to do your work, being your soldiers and helping us to building this line of defence through the Holy Spirit. And thank you for sending your Son to teach us how to be your soldiers; arming us with your word and your strength. Guide us to those who need defending from the darkness. Let us be their security force in their times of need. We pray this to you in your Son’s name, our teacher and defence Commander, Jesus Christ…Amen!
Blessing All!
Have a Great Day!
Keep your head up! GOD gives his hardest battles to his strongest SOLDIERS…
So as we go through our day let us go out to help and to care for all that need it in… Jesus name…Amen!
