Good morning to you all!MCF - SMALL GROUP - ANDREW - FORM SQUARE - 2016-03-23 at 11.34.33 AM

I am on leave and thankful for all of you who read this and I do hope it’s a blessing for you as it is for me.

That brings me to the topic I would like to share with you for this week…Thankfulness!

As Christians, we are called to be thankful to our God for all His blessings towards us starting with our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ for our salvation. The forgiveness of our sins we found at the cross is the greatest of God’s blessings because our soul is now safe for eternity.

The everyday blessings of family, friends, country, jobs, etc…those are all “icing on the cake”J. We are told to be thankful in our words (Eph 5:4, 20), for our food (Mt 26:27, Jn 6:11), for our brothers and sisters in Christ (Col 1:3), in generous giving (2 Cor 9:11) and in all things (1 Thes 5:16-18) even in trials (which is so difficult for me) because there is and will be thankfulness in Heaven (Rev 4:9).

1 Thessalonians 5:16-18  –  Rejoice always, pray without ceasing, in everything give thanks; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you.

Please pray…

Our heavenly Father, we thank you for all the blessings in our lives. We thank you for the greatest blessing of all… your Son, our Lord Jesus Christ. We thank you for the blessings which are seen and not seen in our lives. The hidden blessings that we don’t see, our health and your protection on us as we go through our days. How you know what we need in order to survive this world. Our Father, though we don’t always thank you for the blessings that you give us, you know our hearts and our faith; that we are thankful for everything you do for us.

 Blessing All!

Have a Great Day!

Keep your head up! GOD gives his hardest battles to his strongest SOLDIERS…

So as we go through our day let us go out to help and to care for all that need it in… Jesus name…Amen!
