MCF – Gagetown group – study & prayer

Good morning,

I think it’s time to fire up the wood stove! Only here can we go from hot days to frost warnings in a matter of 3 days LOL. I hope you all had a great week and I pray that you all have a wonderful and safe weekend in our Lord’s light… Amen!

Now, you may be thinking, “what’s with this topic of faith vs. sight?” My point is… doing things on our own (by sight or works) is not the walk of a Christian. We walk by faith. Faith in Christ is what makes you righteous in Gods eyes (2 Corinthians 5 verse 21).  With faith in Christ, he will never leave us or forsake us. Faith will only be possible if you believe that Jesus is who He says He is. Let’s look in the scriptures…

Read Hebrews 13 (focus on verse 5 and verse 8)

  • For God to work in them what is well pleasing in His sight, through Jesus Christ

Verse of the Day
“Blessed are you when they revile and persecute you, and say all kinds of evil against you falsely for My sake. Rejoice and be exceedingly glad, for great is your reward in heaven, for so they persecuted the prophets who were before you. Matthew 5:11-12 NKJV

Blessings All!
Have a Great Day!
Keep your head up! GOD gives his hardest battles to his strongest SOLDIERS…
So as we go through our day let us go out to help and to care for all that need it, in Jesus’ name…Amen!
