I hope you had a great holiday and a well needed rest and decompression time being with your loved ones and friends.
I know in the New Year many people make resolutions to do things to improve or to change things in their life like eating habits, fitness, mental wellbeing and better financial decisions, etc… but remember, that no matter if we succeed or fail at keeping those resolutions, Jesus Christ our saviour and friend loves us as He always has loved us. God’s love never changes and is eternal.
So let’s start off the New Year right; right with God! Let us show our Father that we are not just going to give him borrowed or leftover time, let’s make time for Him! Wednesday prayer day is a good start. So let’s have good attendance at lunch to join together and pray. (St. Luke’s church at 1210hrs to 1250hrs) I encourage you to make a godly effort to come out and pray with us. (And bring a friend!)
Now, I know there are some of you in this email list that are not here in Gagetown, but that should not stop you from going to your base church and spending a few moments in scripture and/or prayer. (And bring a friend!)
On that note, for our study/prayer group, we can start with confirming our calling and election… for the next while I want to talk about Jesus. I want to share with you what I have been reading. As a Christian and a child of God, this reading really hit home for me. It’s called “JESUS’s Journey of Salvation”
Verse of the Day click here for more info on this verse (I encourage you to go read these thoughts)
On a side note; I want to ask if there are any updates to my email list. I have had a few people leave us and some new ones put on, so please let me know if there are any changes to your email. If you would also like to have your home email put on the list so you can share these emails with your family, or if you know anyone else that would like to be put on the list, let me know please.
You might have also noticed that I have created a prayer page on my website so you can read more thoughts of the “verse of the day”. These are the links… click here for more info on this verse
Have a Great Day!
Keep your head up! GOD gives his hardest battles to his strongest SOLDIERS…
So as we go through our day let us go out to help and to care for all that need it, in Jesus’ name…Amen!
